1. Overview
Welcome to Kids Quest World ("we," "our," or "the Academy"). We believe that a child’s digital workspace should be free from distractions and data collection. Our platform is built on a "Local First" architecture, meaning your experience is managed entirely within your own browser.
2. Data Collection & Storage
We do not collect personal information. Here is how we handle the data required for the app to function:
- Local Storage: When you pick a hero name and an avatar, that information is stored in your device's Local Storage. It is never sent to our servers.
- Mission Progress: Your star count and completed missions are stored locally on your machine. We cannot see, access, or restore this data if it is cleared from your browser.
- No Account Required: There are no email sign-ups or passwords. You remain anonymous throughout your entire journey.
3. No Third-Party Content
Kids Quest World is a closed environment. We do not use third-party advertisements, marketing cookies, or external scripts that monitor your behavior.
4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Our website is designed for use by children and is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Because we do not collect any personal information (such as names, addresses, or emails), we provide a safe harbor for early learners.
5. Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we will change the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Any changes will continue to uphold our commitment to user anonymity and data safety.
